Which not only makes them uncapable to recognize, respect and learn from a stronger opponent but also makes them suicidal, and the drug industry is first to benefit. Also, this serves very well the machinery of control. A head disconnected from the body is a perfect drone. I've said it before and will repeat- take life as a game and it will play you.
