After years of sitting playing poker staying up until the late hours in the night, I’ve discovered a passion for moving my body in various ways: surfing, yoga, functional patterns, pilates, calisthenics, jiu jitsu, ecstatic dance, etc. I also love teaching various styles of meditation, therapeutic yoga, and ultimately giving people an experience that is deeply meaningful and impactful. But there is no way I can do what I do if not for the hours I spend by myself in nature. I believe 3-6 hours by yourself is an amazing thing to do at least once a week, and aiming for some time daily when it fits your schedule. My time out there helps me reflect on conversations, my behavior, the way I show up in the world, and gives me the space for new creative ideas to come to me. I have had intense moments of laughter and crying during my longer sessions that has been deeply healing for my nervous system and overall well-being, helping me remember what the important things in life truly are. Spend hours by yourself in nature on a regular basis. It will help you recharge in a profound way. I really can’t recommend it enough.

In Buddhism, the body is often called the "vehicle for enlightenment." Your diverse movement practice isn't just exercise.... it's a form of moving meditation where every sprawl, surf, or dance step is an opportunity to remain present and unattached.. Flow like water 🌊
