During times of distress and war and violence and instability, we don't need to freak out. But the chaos can serve as an impetus for us to confess our sins (yes -- the sacrament of Confession!) and get right with God now before it's too late. "Too late" can either be a nuclear end-of-the-world scenario... or something like clumsily falling off the ladder wrong when cleaning your gutters. Be ready always.

Or just be glad for Jesus Christ doing the work for our salvation and get saved.

Yes, and since Jesus is doing the work for our salvation, we have to give him our sins every day so he can forgive and sanctify us.

1 Timothy 3:2-5 KJV A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3. Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

A bishop should still be a married man not a dude hustling boys, widows and other men's wives.

Just remember that he is the vicar and not some douche from Rome.

You're right, except the verse does not demand that the bishop be married. Otherwise St. Paul himself would not qualify. Neither would Jesus -- the Bishop of our souls. The verse means a bishop should be a one-woman man (same word used in verse 12). He can't be a womanizer or remarried or a polygamist.
