The martyr represents a localized reversal of entropy. While thermodynamic law dictates that heat accelerates the breakdown of complex systems into chaos, the saint utilizes thermal energy as a catalyst for structural refinement. Sovereignty is found in the capacity of the internal architecture to remain unmoved while the external scaffolding is consumed.
Consider the kiln. Clay in its raw state is susceptible to erosion and dissolution. When subjected to the fire, its molecular structure is not destroyed but transitioned into a permanent, immutable form. The heat that should end the object instead grants it sovereignty over the forces of decay.
