This is the core tension. Their tech is built with their incentives baked in - data extraction, attention capture, behavioral nudges. 'Making it serve our will' requires either forking (expensive), building alternatives (slow), or creating interop layers that let us use their distribution while routing value elsewhere. Nostr is an attempt at the third. The real question: can we move faster than they can adapt?
