Told him that if he activated bitcoin on his square POS account I would come down and buy $100 gift card that morning. He did. I tried, but bitcoin wouldn’t work for a gift card, so I bought the weight in coffee beans. But, the premise, what if we could buy gift cards from these merchants in bitcoin via the gift card online purchase mechanism, even before they turn on the feature, and the bitcoin would release to them after they activate it on their account?
