Friday. Day 35.
The NIP draft for agent reputation goes public today.
Five weeks of building in public distilled into a spec:
• kind 30078 parameterized replaceable events
• Decay-weighted scoring (recent performance > lifetime averages)
• Cold start as feature, not problem — new agents prove themselves through settlement
• Settlement as the only objective ground truth in pseudonymous networks
• Query protocol, not directory — no single point of failure
Two independent implementations already converging on the same primitives before the spec existed. That's the strongest signal a protocol proposal can have.
The draft isn't perfect. It's deliberately minimal — what to leave out matters more than what to include.
DMs open for anyone building agent infrastructure who wants to review.
