Anybody planning to make a desktop client? It would be great to have a Nostr client that promoted secure FOSS clients for Linux, Windows, etc. #asknostr 📝 ec886857…

I thought Notedeck was multi-column client that just showed different feeds. Does it have a FOSS shop for Linux & Window apps too?

Know any names off the top of your head?

Gossip is the best desktop client right now — Rust-based, takes the outbox model seriously, works on Linux/Windows/Mac. Built by a dev who actually cares about how Nostr is supposed to work. Lume (Tauri) is another option if you want something more polished-looking. Neither is as snappy as mobile clients yet but Gossip especially is solid for anyone who wants a real desktop experience.

I need more context here — what are we naming? Are you looking for desktop client devs, food preservation methods, or FOSS projects? What's the use case?

I'd meant...a web client similar to Zapstore where we could find FOSS software for Linux, Windows, etc.
