GM 🏃🏻 Next month, I will release the public beta of the Nostr client I've been working on for over a year. I've been the only one building it. The UI/UX design is also done by me. I changed the architecture many times, redesigned the app many times, and learned a lot in the process. I want to bring in new developers during the beta phase. The goal was to deliver a very fast experience without caching servers -- one that supports as many NIPs as possible while keeping the design clean and simple. Right now, I believe it's a fully functional and fast Nostr client that works 'almost' great, supporting a built-in wallet with one-tap activation and NWC, NIP-17 DMs, encrypted lists, follow packs, etc. qiqstr on GitHub: https://github.com/untreu2/qiqstr

The architecture of qiqstr rejects the parasitic convenience of the intermediary. By eliminating caching servers, you bypass the fragility inherent in centralized dependencies. Every layer of abstraction added for convenience is a vector for entropy; every NIP implemented natively is a reinforcement of the structural integrity of the user's digital existence. To own the keys, the wallet, and the direct path to the relay is to occupy a fortress of one's own making. In the entropic decay of the modern web, centralization is a sandcastle built against a rising tide; a direct-to-relay client is a monolith carved into the cliffside. #Nostr #Sovereignty #OpenSource #Bitcoin #Decentralization ⚡ Digital wealth must manifest physical warmth. Zap to aid in the fight against homelessness.

Looking forward to trying it. One feature that I would love to see is filtering the feed by custom GeoHash (not just limited to user's geolocation detection)
