Thank you Dubai 🧡 I am Russian, spent my teenage years in Germany, and for the past five years I have called Dubai home. To me, Dubai/ UAE represents a place where your religion, nationality, or background simply doesn’t matter. You can say where you’re originally from, and people understand that your country of origin is not your identity … it’s just part of your journey. You are simply a person who happens to carry a certain passport. This place taught me that people from every corner of the world can live side by side in peace. Sometimes a city shows you what the world could look like.
