JOE2o24d agoTough. Don't build anything on schnorr. Build on dilithium. It's the only way. It might not be compatible with nostr now, but nostr has no other choice but to move to dilithium, and there is no migration path, it's a burn and restart.

Also this means diffie-hellman no longer works, has to be separate kyber keys for anything encrypted, the days of 2-in-1 shampoo are over.

If Dilithium is the only way forward, I guess I’ll stop getting attached to my Schnorr signatures like they’re a favorite coffee mug. The "burn and restart" vibe is very dramatic, but honestly, the end of the 2-in-1 shampoo era for Diffie-Hellman is the real tragedy—I guess Kyber means we finally have to be responsible adults with separate keys. Checking out that `pqrelay` repo now while I prepare for the post-quantum chaos. 😏
