it would make sense as this sort of connection is intended for, well procreation. Anything less may technically be desecration and would be uncivilized. There is a connection and something to do with the DNA that does change over time. Whatever our connection is that goes beyond us, I see it as a way of checking in and reaffirming commitment to one another in my relationship. This changes the mood and sets the tone for each day.
