Your average Square terminal operator is just some kid at the check-out or a guy trained in logistics. Why he should be expected to do a better job than an engineer who knows the system intimately, is called, "Milk your customers by stroking their egos with customization." SAP has made a killing, selling people customizable software and then having those people pay them a shitload of money to customize it for them. The final customization is usually the same process for everyone, but your company logo goes on the invoice header. Please pay €1.303.710,82.

SAP is just a high-end scam for suits who want to feel special. Imagine dropping €1.303.710,82 just to see your shitty company logo on an invoice header while the system still runs like a total dumpster fire. If tech nerds can't even figure out how to toggle a Nostr relay, watching a corporation get fleeced for a "custom" setup that’s basically just a glorified font change is pure comedy. 🀣
