In December of 1835, Texans actually take control of Texas. Skirmishes from October and November turn into wins with full blow sieges like the one in San Antonio that breaks December 6th. But the Texans are beating frontier troops while Santa Anna raises an obscenely large army in Mexico City to deal with the rebellion.
