I managed to organize an actual 5v5 in Concord. In spite of severe server lag (caused by the anti-tamper and unfixable I'm told), it was rather fun and compelling. Credit where it's due, it's reasonably well balanced, and while rough around the edges it has a cohesive and distinct dynamic. I still firmly believe it was made as propaganda first, game second, nothing has dissuaded me from that. To the contrary, the more I learn about it the more I'm confident in that conclusion. And it is unfortunate. The maps are quite pretty and there are some fun characters. Haymar is very thrilling to play in a 5v5.
