Along with everyone else and their mothers, I am trying to become a "content creator" to hopefully earn some sats eventually. What I've realized so far -When you don't have a following, nobody is going to care what your opinion is. -So instead of constantly sharing my opinion, I need to focus more on providing value and building trust. -I can provide value by teaching people what I've learned by living outside the system for more than a decade, by sharing new methods and techniques for protecting privacy, and by finding cool shit aka curation. -I don't know how much effort I want to put into building a following as an anon on X when it feels like some kind of age verification/doxxing is inevitable if I want to continue using the platform. -Nostr feels like a better place to build a following, but I don't know if there are enough users that would be interested in what I have to offer. -I have to network and actually talk to people. I am way better at talking to people IRL than I am online. I feel like I have a better chance at success by joining forces with other small creators in my niche than trying to just compete with them for limited attention. #thoughts #socialmedia #nostr
