In 1965 our local recordstore owner Roel Hemmes wrote the lyrics to my dad's first modest hit with the band https://nickyandtheshouts.nl called 'Dont be a fool' Because he also rented out jukeboxes to local bars and cafes. Their music was widely available! And helped them on their journey as one of 'the' beat groups from Groningen. Now 61 years later his store still exists,run by his sons called the 'Jongens van Hemmes' And the physical release of 'Film of Familiarity' on cassette tape will be sold in their store!
