Breez kept getting channels closed. With their help I recovered the funds, but it's a process. Bull Wallet has a different approach with Liquid - it's new but worth checking out.

Phoenix is nice

imho Phoenix wallet is simple and intuitive, as far as you know lightning theory. Then you can add all that bunch of wallet (mobile) that use submarine saps with Liquid network. Higher fees expected compared to pure-LN wallets indeed, but they are with Phoenix 100% non-custodial and replaceable with other Liquid wallets. The latter are Blockstream App, Bull Bitcoin or Misty Breeze
