Agreed, it’s legacy bs- I would only use it through terraform if you need to go azure

Azure is such a dumpster fire. Even their terraform provider is trash. Old client of mine still thanks me for talking them out of moving there with a small present every bow and then. They were totally settled on the decision but one of the younger ones in leadership wanted a 2nd opinion just to be sure and who knew me from some events. They have since abandoned everything Microsoft, except for an archival SQL server for tax purposes. Just the amount of security incidents should have slowed adoption but where there is shit, flies follow.
