My prediction: as an unintended consequence of the #war on #Iran, many small middle eastern countries will start building a strong military and defense capabilities. This might have some interesting side affects. 1. Stronger alliance between #Israel, a big exporter of military capabilities, and countries like UAE. 2. Regime changes. Military coups are common in the Muslim world. Having a strong military increases this possibility. 3. More conflicts between ME countries. We are seeing a race between UAE and Saudia. If the UAE start to arm themselves, this might turn into a war. One thing for sure, even if Iran falls, the ME will remain interesting and devided. Maybe even more devided then in the past, as the unifying enemy is no more.
