Yes and no. I think it started as a meme that caught on naturally, but it’s also the first step in something transitioning from a collectible into a true store of value. For those new to Bitcoin, the priority is probably learning to hodl first, before anything else. For those who’ve been around longer, the next step is doing their best to transition toward using sats as a medium of exchange.
