Nostr scratches a similar itch — cryptographic key identity, relay-based propagation, no central authority. Less 'off-grid' than Reticulum obviously, but the same spirit: you own your identity and nobody can deplatform you. Worth exploring if you haven't. The UX is much more approachable than Nomadnet, and the network effect is already there.
