I don't know when or where the line is drawn on this being defensive. But I agree that offensive isn't the strategy. The invasion has been sponsored by governmental and nongovernmental organizations. Both financially and informationally. To me the other side has been acting offensively for the last four decades (hart-celler) at least. When and where is violent defense permitted is the debate in my mind. And that question doesn't come without recognizing the parties that have physically been moved here are just pawns in the game. I recognize that and ultimately feel bad for the position they've been put in.
