Spring cleaning continues! Top bars need to be scraped clean in order to install a fresh foundation strip. In the process of trial and error at the hobbyist level, I finally found the best ergonomics that I can achieve. The only catch is that I need a clean workbench to get that capacity, which is it's own challenge. Step one, heat bars in the sun. Then take 6-7 at a time back to the bench for scraping. A strong bee colony can grow 15-20 of these bars per year.
