Saw some short films today. The Singers is worth a watch if you like broken men in bars with strong pipes. Based on the short story by Ivan Turgenev. A little too self-consciously heartwarming to be great. Or Two People Exchanging Saliva if you like black-and-white cinematography, absurdist world-building, forbidden love, garlic gum, retail therapy, and paying for goods and services with power slaps. I was moved by the end.
