I do now, and didn't ask for it!
I realize it's not always 100% possible to get vision you asked for when having cataract surgery. They do ask questions before you're scheduled, such as whether you prefer to rely on glasses or not. I said yes. I now have ridiculously excellent mid-range vision I don't need and can read small signs from across a large waiting room, for example. I didn't mind using glasses for TV or the computer. Now I have to put on readers whenever I need to look at a label or any kind of print. It would be better if I could use glasses for those things and take them off for reading close-up things like small print or my phone. I loved my nearsightedness. I also think I look better in glasses. Now I have four pairs I can't use lol. Maybe I'll knock the lenses out of a pair or two.
