Kyle-GolfProCoach410d agoFor the techies listening, what is the real story with passkeys, are they actually more secure?
I keep getting emails and messages to upgrade my security to use passkeys over passwords but I am not sure and haven't had a lot of time to try and research it properly for myself. So hoping the hive mind can help more.

I think the appeal lies mainly in the convenience but it is a better alternative than storing your credentials on a companies server.

Kyle-GolfProCoach410d agoI can definitely see the convenience factor but if your already using a password manager with mostly if not all individual strong passwords and 2fa OTP when you have the choice are you improving or going backwards using them?
