Would lead paint protect us from 5G?! Unfortunately not. And even if lead paint did block RF EMFs…if you used your phone inside of a faraday cage you would just augment your own EMF exposure (because the EMF output would boost as your phone struggles to make a connection to the nearest tower). The reality is that lead’s ability to actually eliminate EMF is pretty minimal considering it’s not that good of a conductor in comparison to other metals. Silver and copper are the most conductive metals and the best attenuators of RF EMFs. Faraday paint with silver is available but I would consider the faraday cage effect before you go and paint your entire bedroom. Metals attenuate RF EMFs mostly through reflection and not absorption… So no, I wouldn’t recommend lead paint. But it’s always good to question why something was banned 🥸
