Mainly why I switched to pipes. Most of my tobacco is less than $4/oz. And I don't have any storage issues, just sealed Mason jars. I never really cared for cigars because after about 1/2 a stick it starts tasting bad, but because they are so expensive I push through even when it gets bitter tasting. At least with my pipe it's only like $0.50 or less I'm tossing out. Though I do smoke usually 3/4 of a bowl.

Coming back to an extinguished cigar is not the same after 30 minutes
As for cigar enjoyment, a big part of it depends on what you’ve eaten beforehand, as some cigars are very full bodied and really demand a steak dinner to keep you from getting nauseous, while others are mild and creamy, and they can be enjoyed with afternoon coffee
