This morning marks my 3rd year DJing the Austin Marathon, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most fulfilling sets I play all year. There’s something powerful about watching thousands of people push themselves past their limits — and knowing that the music is part of what carries them forward. The smiles, the waves, the moments when someone locks in with the beat and finds that extra energy… that’s everything. Music isn’t just something we hear — it’s something we feel. It lifts us. It connects us. It reminds us what we’re capable of. Grateful to be part of this incredible Austin tradition. Grateful to bring the funk to the runners!!
