I was thinking about what business I should start next. I’m interested in a lot of things but most of all impact. It got me thinking, we need more bitcoin adoption. But how do we get more mass casuals to adopt who have little to no clue about bitcoin — well, by appealing to their selfish interests in the actual world. I am seeing a wave of companies gearing up to offer bitcoin backed mortgages. That’s all well and good — and I’m a first customer — but we really need normies to really make this take off. The thing that we need to accomplish that is a fleet of realtors who are trained to offer the BTC mortgage solution as it is orders of magnitude better than fiat loans from a traditional bank. If I form a company that can be the “boots on the ground” army of realtors reselling bitcoin mortgages (start in my area to test), this has potential to make legitimate impact because if you can convince house savers to convert their fiat savings to bitcoin and put that bitcoin up as collateral for a loan it would be: - New money - New type of Hodler - Larger amounts - Help demonetize real estate - Spark bitcoin conversation with a real world and highly relatable situation that actually helps a home buyer - Game theory will eat the mortgage world too Am I retarded or is this a good idea? Who wants to fund me?
