I volunteered 8 hours a day for a week at the 2021 Miami bitcoin conference and nobody from the magazine ever said thanks. I was lumped into a group of random non bitcoiner hourly waged employees, had to work security at the back gate, and missed most of the conference. Won’t make that volunteer mistake again. Sidenote: when I was working security, pomp rolled up with like 15 ppl at the back gate, powered through me with his possee and bigtimed me when I asked his groupies if they had tickets. My guess is he’ll be speaking at the conference again this year- just watch out for how many people he brings with him.
