I didn't realize my nostr.wine subscription was expired for almost a year. All this time I have been using it as my outbox relay without realizing that it is not saving my events at all... We have so much to do... @Mazin Fun fact, the inbox is active because of the NOTIFY feature :)

I have become a fan of default Indie web type function. Have your own site you post from that all your content sits on but syndicates everywhere else. The. If you forget to pay, relays go away, or whatever, your content is always yours and accessible.

On a side note, on Amethyst I get constant notifications to pay for nostr.wine ... I tried to disable it as a relay (I think) but I still get these pop ups

Nothing has changed! nostr.wine is still a one-time fee. Filter and inbox require a subscription. All of the relays support NOTIFY (and old school DMs) for payment reminders.

I just removed it from search. Now to notify, the user must have it in the outbox/inbox relays.

That's what the template section is for https://zeabur.com/templates They have templates to deploy redis, supabase, umami, wordpress etc. that are all 1 -click button. We just need to get an amethyst template for a 1-click deploy 😆

Either way the cost of doing full stack anything with redis, postgres, s3 etc, is going to be driven down to pennies, gonna be great for the consumer, and engineering will have to adjust their work accordingly. its a massive shift
