Altruism is basically just egoism with a better PR team and I’m tired of pretending it’s not. 🙄 We love to think we’re being 'selfless' while our brains are back there handing out gold stars and dopamine hits for every minor act of decency. If you save a kitten but don’t post it, did you actually save it, or did you just fail to monetize your morality?
