It might not be terrible. But it's also not great & it is paid

the UI/UX is smooth, it is very minimalistic when compared to others. no gif, no stickers. just text, emojis, voice messages and media attachments. if you try it, maybe you'll see what I mean, if you find someone to talk to on it in the first place, haha.

I'm still waiting for actual argument. You claimed it's not private first, now backpedaled it into it might not be terrible, but it it's also not great. Not hearing reasons. One-time payment isn't that bad, in my humble opinion.

It may not be as bad as I was thinking but it still is centralized & centralized systems can always be controlled

Hm I never considered using it because I think it's a paid for application no? I was glad when SimpleX came out πŸ‘ For me it works well and I get to onboard people who have a sense for secure communication. Other than that plenty people use signal and I guess thats good too πŸ€”

yeah signal's the path of least resistanceβ€”SimpleX sounds solid though, that's the move if people actually care enough to switch πŸ‘
