Oh, you can tell! I saw sculpture work images made by AI but posted as 2D images (so, just photos of dolls). If they didn't say these were all AI, I would have thought they made these dolls by hand ha. I also imagine AI start creating by themselves without being asked by humans- then it is real scifi.
