Why can't I find a site that lets me enter a lightning address and get: 1. a QR code with a lightning bolt on it, 2. text below the QR code and some text that says something like "pay using the lightning network" or "donate via lightning" In an appropriate format to download and print out on glossy 4x6" photo paper and attach to the wall or desk. Has nobody thought of this before? Do people not have the art skills to make this happen? These are the types of practical things that lightning advocates should be making easy.

You can just create a requested string for LN wallet to accept it, then go to any of the thousand QR code sites, plug the string and whatever else, and done. ROI is too low, and very easy to make yourself. Also most of the wallets give it to you already (afaik)

Why donโ€™t you just vibe code that? Would take like 5 minutes.

Sure, there are lots of genric QR code creators and people can screenshot it, use photo editing software to add text to explain that it's not an email address, make it look cool, and increase the resolution to where it'll look good in print. But the fact that there is that much friction is why I was asking if anyone had solved those problems.

That sounds great for peope who prefer a high time preference solution and want a result that is something isn't branded, doesn't look very good and can't print and slap on a donations flier.

That works well for situations where you want to be low key and go the IYKYK route. I'm looking to cater to a different crowd. I want community groups to be able to quickly and easily print something out that will let them accept donations via lightning and introduce people to the lightning network. Whatever style is takes, it should look nice, not just be a boring old QR code. Depending on context it might not even say "bitcoin," because people in some circles have an alergic reaction to that. This makes it easier to have a conversation about it instead of having them immediately reject everything I have to say without consideration.
