I hate how apps can detect screenrecording and then stop video playback. Is this my fucking phone or not? Sad that our children are going to be increasingly locked into this dystopian software hellscape, and they won’t even realize there was an alternative at one point in time.

Same with mirroring to TV. Today I was thinking about torrents and why I faded them for so long. But I guess I was also blinded by the convenience of streaming platforms in the early days.
