I see it this way, he imposes rather banal narratives on his audience under the guise of investigation. In world politics, he tends to force complex situations into an ideologically convenient framework instead of engaging with the real complexity on the ground.
What bothers me is that he ignores the individuality and agency of the people in the countries that are actually affected. Their perspectives, internal dynamics, and contradictions get flattened so that everything fits a predetermined narrative.
At that point, it stops feeling like journalism and starts feeling more like activism and gatekeeping for a particular worldview. And when someone consistently filters events through that kind of rigid lens, it inevitably undermines his credibility for me
