Aletheia (ἀλήθεια) - An ancient Greek term for "truth". Literally translates to "un-forgetting" or "un-concealing". Not only mere correctness, but the uncovering of realities that exist independent of the universe. "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." — John 8:32 (ESV) re-reading this passage after learning the original Greek words makes me now think of it more as "And you will have what has always existed revealed to you from beyond what you can currently comprehend, and this discovery of the everlasting rationality of the universe will liberate you from your material chains." #nostr #faith #christianity
