Call me crazy, but I believe in Jan/Feb 2026 we reached escape velocity in AI which had led the owners of the old system to freak out. I think that's the main reason there's an ongoing war in Iran. A way to prevent the Deflationary Death Spiral 1- Rising oil/gas prices leads to inflation everywhere. I.e. melting the debt away. 2- Without Qatar's helium, no new chips will make it to market. I.e starve the machine. 3- Reshape the geopolitics of energy dominance. I.e US as the new big dog now. This, again, buys them time. But as @83e818df…5ccd964b says exponential gains from AI, automation, and robotics push prices down, but a fiat system built on credit must expand debt and inflation to avoid collapse.
