It would be interesting to read a contrary opinion, although unlikely. A curious fact: I was just browsing the cashu repo and read a comment suggesting that in the future they may have to represent amounts in nanosats instead of millisats (which is already a unit 1000x smaller than what is officially considered the smallest unit of bitcoin) as if the price of bitcoin was going to rise to the moon. Dishonesty or pipe dream?

in any cult to get praise from fellow cultists you must loudly evangelize the most extreme and outlandish version of the idea your cult is based on if the cult is based around an investment bubble you must be constantly making "predictions" about the value of the asset going to some figure that is bigger than what others dare to hope for these pyramids are self sustaining as long as there is enough money to feed their growth and nothing bursts the bubble once the bubble is burst if the pyramid is around something that has fundamental value like housing then after crashing it will eventually restart and thus go through cycles if the pyramid was based around something that is fundamentally worthless then once the bubble is burst it is done for good what is interesting about bitcoin is it is fundamentally worthless but has crashed many times and keeps coming back ... maybe has to do with the unique nature of bitcoin with its periodic halvings and so on ... or maybe it is just so far beyond the ability of people to understand ... Tesla bubble is also resilient in the same way because people think Elon is G-d just like they think Satoshi Nakamoto as some deity ...
