Problem is 12% of tenth of millions times the profite per sales is already a lot of money they cannot afford to remove from balance sheets. And I guess most people buying shit from ads would either not even reply to such survey or lie about it (to themselves), so it might be even higher. That's why nostr will always be superior, ads are not required, while still possible on account level, then you choose to follow some companies that use nostr to send ads only if you think they might be relevant to you, and sales per ads seen might be much higher than any other platform then.
