What do you mean with "inside keychat"? Everything is encrypted and no metadata are exposed, by default it uses your write relays (or a couple of fallback if no one of your relays accept kind 33301/2). You can add personal.relays.land to your relays, and it will be used.

Could you let me know what issue you ran into when using Manent in the Keychat browser? It seems to be working fine on my end.
