Pierre Simon28d agoAnd Chaumian e-cash existed way before Bitcoin was invented. The matter of the fact is that all these technologies are now embedded into the Bitcoin ecosystem.

kidwarp28d agoYes it was… Ecash has a whole ecosystem that we don’t use… much less it never gets mentioned here…
And I do not think of ecash/cashu as being embedded into any part of bitcoin same with LN…
Both LN and ecash/cashu are optional and are NOT included in standard node software…
