@utxo the webmaster πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» @Vitor Pamplona I’m testing my self-hosted Blossom server, which is based on Haven. When I post images using Amethyst, I can see them in any Nostr client. However, when I post images using Wisp, they don’t appear in Amethystβ€”only the Nostr URLs are visible. Is this a compatibility issue, or could it be related to my server configuration? Thanks for your great job!

Something is very off. The browser downloads these as files, it doesn't display them as pictures in the browser too. I am not sure what it is...

Ok its not amber Last one please try blossom.primal.net or blossom.band as media server and see what wisp does, this will show me exactly where the bug is

@utxo the webmaster πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Could it be the issue the file format? When I post a jpeg it just work in both clients but if I poat a heic file it works only in amethyst because it perform a transformation (compress) before sending it to the server. In the test posting to blossom.band could work because the server performs that transformation contrary to Haven. Could it be the reason? @Vitor Pamplona

So weird, just a normal URL, nothing special? If I hit these from the browser I get a 404, but I see them in wisp? It's definitely a server/haven problem, not client {"id":"336e9545a63affdc14f4944e748ec64ce5e23cefc2680e15ea0e92b5beca3e89","pubkey":"d921050624a77f952572bf61b21e2f23debe81a0796a9ea3d3f9b2d46a858737","created_at":1773489659,"kind":1,"tags":[["t","foodstr"],["t","sevilla"],["t","wisp"],["t","blossom"],["t","test"],["client","Wisp"]],"content":"Cuaresma en Sevilla es temporada de torrijas #foodstr #sevilla #wisp #blossom #test\n\nhttps://nostr.jcloud.es/beb1957d78b9a0c6ecb9997733f55a187…","sig":"af13a802eae15b47d1d446b5661d6aad9ebec15c7dfea3444432596b07acca54161e45187f36463c2655241f60aac3f18e1af960fd2f91fd35c23b7ea298961e"}

I'll check the server and how the files are stored but as @Vitor Pamplona says the files published from wisp are not recognized as images when you try to download them. I'll let you know the findings, thanks for your help.

It seems like your file extensions are being cut off for some reason when you use wisp, but wisp works without them, but not sure why because my haven blossom is keeping them πŸ€”

Can you try just for testing purposes to use nostr dot build or primal for blossom and lmk if you have the same issue?

I think it is the mimetype in the Http header that is not saying that this is an image/video.

ah that makes senseβ€”ran into something similar trying to upload photos to a client site once, headers were all wrong. did wisp let you manually set the mimetype or is that a server config thing?

Ok maybe a good clue, can you try clicking accept all for like 5 minutes, and then do two test notes with uploads, and see if the 2nd one (that didn't go thru amber sign) just works?

Usually it's a server thing. They are not replying in the way they should.

Using blossom.band keeps file extension, but using my haven instance 1.2.0 it removes the file extension
