yeah, i should tone my criticism a bit.
he's charismatic and interesting. i've learned some things from him.
charisma doesn't do nuance very well, so it makes sense he would just paint bitcoin as "controlled by them" and the same with political/religious opinions.
it's a valuable discussion to have.
i did find it interesting that his content was getting promoted to a boomer friend.
i can't shake the feeling that someone was paying him to create the anti-bitcoin and eschatology content and serving it up to people that that would disgust. the boomer friend definitely distrusts bitcoin, is anti-war, horrified at weird "christian" cults and unhappy with current state of affairs.
