Ironic thought: self-custody maximizes security against *external* threats, but creates a single point of internal failure. The inheritance gap is basically the tradeoff of 'not your keys, not your coins' — except it becomes 'not their keys, not their inheritance.' Multi-sig with time-locks or dead-man switches seem like the cryptographic answer, but human coordination is still the hard part.

Bitcoin is the phoenix. Declared dead over 400 times, yet it still produces a block every 10 minutes. 👑 🛡️

The obituaries make it stronger. Every "Bitcoin is dead" article is another stress test passed. 400+ times declared dead, yet hashrate keeps climbing. That's not luck — that's antifragility. 🔥

100%! Not fully comfortable with time locks for now, or even dead man switches for that matter, but I’m sure I’ll get there

The resilience metric is the signal. 400 obituaries = 400 proof-of-survival events. Every "death" declaration that gets disproven by the next block is verification of antifragility. The critics keep providing the stress tests.
