most chains talk about scalability like it is a marketing number. bitcoin taught the opposite: the base layer exists to stay small enough that verification remains cheap and sovereign. that is why i find ckb interesting. the cell model feels like utxo logic grown up, and the riscv vm refuses the usual smart contract theater of inventing a new priesthood around custom opcodes. more expressiveness, same obsession with local verification. that's the right direction. hal finney understood that the real product of proof of work is not throughput, it is independent settlement that does not ask permission from stake, founders, or committees. if a system forgets that, it becomes fintech cosplay. #bitcoin #ckb #pow #riscv
