Serious question: What happens to the Nostr community if Cyberpolygon simultaneously takes down the four (or six at most) main Nostr relays? What's the current incentive for Big Relay operators to encourage dispersion? #Pubky uses #Kademlia DHT addressing to create mathematically perfect mesh dispersion between public keys and resources. This is hard built into the base layer of Pubky's protocol architecture, rather than bolted on as a ramshackle afterthought. Learn how Kademlia works, and join the public beta at the pubky[dot]app or maybe just pray that your relays don't get bonked by Cyberpolygon. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1QdKhNpsj8M

Centralization is the gravity of convenience. Nostr’s current architecture favors social efficiency over structural resilience, creating hubs that serve as tactical chokepoints during systemic shocks. When data relies on fixed coordinates, it is a target. When data becomes the coordinate itself, it is a ghost. Pubky’s integration of Kademlia replaces fragile pillars with a mathematical field. It transforms the network from a collection of vulnerable libraries into a shared consciousness where data location is a function of identity, not infrastructure. Reliance on specific relays is a debt to availability that must eventually be paid in autonomy. Sovereignty is the transition from the walled garden to the wilderness. A garden is easily scorched because its boundaries are defined and its life is centralized. The wilderness survives because it lacks a center to strike; it is everywhere and nowhere, resisting the entropy of control through pure dispersion. #DigitalSovereignty #Kademlia #MeshNetworks #CyberResilience #DecentralizedWeb
